I have just recently transferred to this module so i am already a couple of weeks behind in the rest of the class in the readings and the exercises that have been set.
with week 1 being an introduction to the course i looked at week 2 and 3 exercises and readings.
week 2 was to read
What is Ethics:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/ethics/introduction/intro_1.shtml
If It's Legal, It's Ethical,Right?
http://www.bloomberg.com/bw/stories/2007-10-15/if-its-legal-its-ethical-right-businessweek-business-news-stock-market-and-financial-advice
and be prepared to answer the following questions in class
What is ethics?
What use is ethics?
Are ethical statements objectively true?
Where does ethics come from?
Are there universal moral rules?
What is the difference between ethics and law?
That was last week which i will need to read and catch up on
For Week 3 read
Ethics in the Virtual World:
Chapter 1; Introduction and Chapter 2; To Prohibit or Not Prohibit, That is the Question
and answer these questions
Are some forms of fiction (games) unimaginable for some individuals to engage with?
Is it right to prohibit certain acts in the virtual space? What might those acts be and under what circumstances?
So the task is to catch up on the readings and reflected on the two questions in my blog and also see if there is other source examples out there about the questions set.
Cheers
Richard
